- New “Basque-linen” products in our collection:

“Basque-linen” and “Basque-canvas” are composed of 50% linen and 50% cotton (linen weft and cotton basic fabric). ”Basque-linen” is traditionally unbleached and the color is brownish, tammy-like.

- New cotton fabric (B26):
We have added a new product to our portfolio. This fabric is also mainly aimed at the bunad market. The fabric is 1-ply, combed and bleached, with a 140cm width.

- 2 new qualities of linen:
These two new products are respectively called IL14 and TL14. They are both produced for the bunad market.

- We can now deliver “stakke”-fabric (stakke is the skirt of the bunad) of 140cm, 150cm, and 160cm.
We can now deliver our well-known quality “stakke”-fabric in a variety of 10 colors. We have also begun to produce them in a width of 150cm, in addition to the existing 140cm and 160cm. You can find this quality in our catalogue / sample order as “Kvalitet 1000”.

- New staff
Krivi-Vev has hired 2 new experienced co-workers: machine technician Terje Fjeldstad and machine operator Maria Aasprang.
Terje was hired full-time from Mai 1st 2005. He is responsible for maintenance and readjusting the machinery.
Maria will weave, prepare basic fabrics and control the textiles.

- Krivi-Vev is expanding!
In an effort to satisfy the demands of the market, Krivi-Vev is now expanding its premises with 250 square meters. The building project started in March 2005 and is now finished.

New 18-ply linen.

We are expanding our product portfolio and have now started the manufacturing of new 18-ply linen.

	18x18 threads/cm
	1-ply long fiber
	TL18 is bleached and sanforized
	Shrinkage 2-4%
	Produced in Norway

Two new linen products

Krivi-Vev’s Norwegian made linen products are increasingly known for their good quality. We are therefore proud to present a new 20-ply linen in the well-known “Krivi-linen” quality (1-ply long fiber). In addition, we are now releasing a 16-ply linen fabric made of 2-ply long fiber linen.

We are now also manufacturing homespun for bunads

We are expanding our wool collection with a solid homespun that can be delivered in a variety of colors. This homespun received a lot of praise on the market when it was shown at the last Gifts & Interior Fair.

Prices from February 1^st 2003

We wish for a more rational production, and large purchases should be favorable to our customers. For that reason, there won’t be any price adjustments on some of our products from February 1^st 2003.
