About Us

Krivi-Vev is a weaving mill situated in Tingvoll, Møre og Romsdal, and was established in 1988.
We strive to combine arts & crafts traditions with the industrial demands of quality and delivery reliability, all the while focusing on making the right environmental choices.
In addition to our own standard collection within clothing- and interior textiles, we take special orders from architects, institutions and others who might have special requests regarding quality and design.
 

Krivi-Vev only uses raw materials like linen, silk, wool, and cotton, of the highest quality. This awareness has helped build our good reputation, and a word like “Krivi-linen” has gradually become a term in itself.
The quality of linen is determined by the length and delicacy of its fiber. The longest fibers give the best yarn. A thread of linen with long fibers which is additionally twined gives a stronger thread and a good quality of textile.

We never use artificial products in our textiles. This is particularly relevant for persons with allergies who are wearing or working with our products, among others.
